Morgan Palmer was a Slayer active in Cleveland since 2007, until her temporary death called Buffy Summers[1] in the universe without shrimp.[2]

Biography[]

Morgan was called as a Slayer when she was thirteen. Her father helped her but he died a couple of years later. She lived in Cleveland in a studio apartment, routinely sleeping during the day and slaying at night for twelve years. Her Watcher was Stephen Reilly, whom Morgan described as having put "a hundred knives in [her] back" over the years.[1]

In 2019, the Watchers Council conspired with Stephen to cause her death, due to considering twenty-five an advanced age for a Slayer, as no other had lasted this long. Stephen and the head of the Council, Dorothy Giles, fled to Cleveland to tell her about a vampire nest, but Morgan listened to their plan in secrecy of leading her instead to a demon that would make her vanish. She researched through the Slayer histories to find if anyone was able to escape, but found out about Anya, a vengeance demon and the last woman to be a Watcher for allowing her Slayer to survive to her twenty-two years old.[1]

Morgan intended to make a vengeful wish against Stephen, but Anya offered her an opportunity to affect the "bigger picture." Morgan suggested that she'd go along with the Council's plan, so she'd have more time and a future with them believing that she was dead. Anya gave her a ring, which Morgan wore when the demon attacked and killed her. Anya then recovered Morgan's body and destroyed the ring's gem, bringing her back to life.[1]
