Mercy Hospital was one of the hospitals in Sunnydale,[1] along Sunnydale Memorial[2] and the Sunnydale Mental Hospital.[3]
History[]
In 1997, Jennifer Calendar was called to the attention of strange events within three miles from the Hellmouth. One night before the Master rose from his underground prison, a boy was born in Mercy Hospital with his eyes facing inward. Other incidents included a cat giving birth to a litter of snakes, and the Whisper Lake suddenly began to boil with a family in it.[1]
The hospital was presumably destroyed along with the rest of Sunnydale following the battle at the Hellmouth in 2003.[4]
