Maria Regina was a Slayer active in 1539, France.

Biography[]

As a young Slayer in France, Maria fell for a stable boy. He was an agent of Giacomo Fulcanelli and sold her out to his master. Fulcanellii sacrificed Maria, using the blood of a Slayer as power source for his dying body.[1]

In 1999, Fulcanellii posed as Maria on the Ghost Roads in order to fool the current Slayer Buffy Summers. While assuming Maria's form, Fulcanellii possessed all of the Slayers powers, but none of her skill. His weak technique was one of the clues Buffy used to figure out that he wasn't the real Maria.[1]
