Lorophage Demon was a demon species. They possessed needle-like fingers and a proboscis that they employed to feed on and kill their victims. By nailing them into their victims' forehead, the Lorophage caused them to relieve their traumas - feeding the Lorophage - going mad prior to dying.

In 1972, Rupert Giles, then a Watcher in training, faced a Lorophage, which had been mistakenly named by tabloids as the Highgate Vampire.
