Laurie Drummond was Oliver Seidel's teaching assistant. Unlike other students whose achievements would overshadow Seidel, making him do away with them, Laurie seemed to lack the intelligence to pose a threat so he felt no reason to kill her. It is unknown what happens to her after Seidel's death.
