A dying Kungai demon with the Tak horn removed
Kungai Demons were a powerful and deadly Asian race of demon. Reptilian in appearance, Kungais were famous for their forehead horns, known as Tak, and also had a reputation of being deadly.
Powers and abilities
A Kungai's Tak horn had the ability of draining the life force of those stabbed with it. Its removal was deadly to a mutilated Kungai.
Kungais also had the ability to stick to flat surfaces such as roofs.
Encounters
- Angel Investigations tracked down an unidentified Kungai Demon. Believing him to be a killer, the Kungai was actually the victim of the Empath Demon Barney.
- In an alternate reality in which Cordelia Chase never joined Angel Investigations, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce lost an arm to a Kungai.
