Kraus's Compendium of Magical Combat was a book on spells. A first edition was stored at the Magic Box shop.[1]
History[]
In 2001, Rupert Giles had recently acquired a first-edition of Kraus's Compendium for the Magic Box, so Willow Rosenberg sought it to use its spells against a group of vampires invading the shop. She looked for it in the off-limits area upstairs, among the books with "real power," but found it stored within a cabinet. The book had been lying open in a page describing a sun spell, which Willow effectively cast against the vampires.[1]
