A sword was captured by Buffy Summers when confronted by one of the Knights of Byzantium. Arriving at the Magic Box, she used it to threaten Watchers Council member Nigel, throwing it at the shelf beside him after his interruption.
Behind the Scenes
- As with many of the weapons seen on the series, this sword was purchased from a catalog for use on the show. It is in fact the "Sword of Prince Valiant", by Spanish sword manufacturer Marto. Based on the literary hero, it reads "Invincible is that one who uses me in a good cause."[1]
- The post it note seen skewered by the sword when Buffy throws it can barely be read to say "1/2 OFF".
