Ken was the name by which the demon leader of the Family Home enslavers identified himself.
Using prosthetic makeup, he disguised himself as a human, going around the cities of Los Angeles and offering flyers for his faux-teen shelter to runaway teenagers. He encountered the Slayer, Buffy Summers, who eventually discovered his plot and subsequently fell into his dimension when trying to save Lily Houston from being enslaved. She then fought his guards, creating a distraction so the other slaves could flee unnoticed. Ken attempted to pursue her by pushing her while she struggled through a portcullis but ended up having his legs impaled by its grills. Buffy then showed him her "impression of Gandhi" by bludgeoning him to death.
