Kal Penn is an actor who portrayed Hunt on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and John Hancock on Angel.
Career[]
Penn is perhaps best known for roles on the television series House, 24, How I Met Your Mother, Designated Survivor, and Sunnyside as well as on the films Harold & Kumar and The Namesake, among others. He also served as host of the game show Superhuman.
Penn has taught at the University of Pennsylvania in the Cinema Studies Program as a visiting lecturer. He also acted in the Obama administration as an Associate Director in the White House Office of Public Engagement.

Penn co-starred as the UC Sunnydale student Hunt in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4 episode "Beer Bad" then as the psychic demon "John Hancock" in the Angel season 3 episode "That Vision-Thing."
