Template:BuffyComicIssue Jonathan is a comic, a story based on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series.
Summary
Only one person can save Sunnydale from Russian vampire mobsters, surprisingly that is Jonathan Levinson. Jonathan gets help from the Slayer and her pals. It seems Jonathan is quite the legend, and appears to be admired by the whole of Sunnydale.
Background information
The comic is a direct prequel to the "Superstar" episode. The issue is subtitled "Codename: Comrades".
Collections
This issue was first collected in Omnibus: Volume 6.
Canonical issues
This comic is considered to have disputed canon, because it was written by Jane Espenson, part of the Buffy writing staff, in connection with an aired episode that she also wrote.
