Jerry was the fiance of Susan Frakes. She hired Angel Investigations to follow him because she believed he had been put under a spell to make him cheat, although the subsequent investigation revealed that he was actually being lured on by a life-sucking tree demon. He survived, rescued by Angel Investigations.
