Jeff Kober is an actor who portrayed both Zachary Kralik and Rack in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

BiographyEdit

Kober was born in Billings, Montana. He moved to Los Angeles in his early twenties to pursue a career as an actor. His first role was an uncredited spot on V. He earned renown for his role on China Beach as "Dodger" Winslow and in the horror series Kindred: The Embraced as Daedalus.

In addition to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kober has made guest appearances on such television series as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER, 24, The Closer, New Girl, Criminal Minds, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise, among others. He played Jacob Hale, Jr. in Sons of Anarchy and Joe in The Walking Dead.

Kober's big screen career began in 1986 with the film Out of Bounds, in which he played the first of his signature nefarious characters "Roy Gaddis". This role led to more film opportunities such as in The First Power, Tank Girl, Defining Maggie, World Without Waves, The Hills Have Eyes II, Sully, among others. He also featured as DJ Ray from Reef Radio in Bacardi Rum's 1990s "serve Chilled" advertising campaign.

In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kober portrayed the vampire Zachary Kralik in the episode "Helpless". He then returned to the series as the warlock Rack in the episodes:
