Ivo Shandor was a warlock and the founder of Mosaic Wellness Center.[1]
Biography[]
According to what Betta George read in Wiseau's head, Shandor had built the Mosaic compound in the early 1900s. With this, he tried to cut out what he believed was the cancer in society: the supernatural. Shandor, who had dabbled in black magic, sealed the entrance of Mosaic with a powerful spell that prevented anything supernatural from even leaving it.[1]
Shandor's followers on the outside would drag monsters through the desert and toss them through the entrance. After the first World War, he and his followers tried to bring about the end of the world, believing that "society was too sick to survive."[1]
Since Shandor himself was a vessel for black magic, he could never leave the building he created. He perished still inside Mosaic.[1]
