Irene was a member of Spike’s bug demon crew who was sired by a zompire.

Biography

Due to the destruction of the Seed of Wonder, Irene mutated into a monstrous vampiric creature that Spike dubbed the “space-bug-zompire thing”. She was ultimately slain by Buffy Summers by sunlight exposure.
