Hugh Hefner was the editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine. He lived in Los Angeles, and was transformed into a vampire during the city's "fall". He was dusted by Spike, who took over the Playboy Mansion and used it as residence for himself along with Illyria and the Spikettes.
When the Senior Partners turned time back, Hefner was brought back to life.
