An unidentified creature was one of the gladiators in the dimension both Buffy and Angel were trapped and set to fight.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The creature is a reference to Hellboy, the half-demon from the homonymous comic series.
- The character also appears as a portrait in The Blood of Carthage, Part Three, a bust in Past Lives, Part Two, a human lookalike in Spike and Dru: The Queen of Hearts, a comic in "No Need to Fear, the Slayer's Here," and another creature in Desperate Measures. Xander also wears a BPRD patch throughout Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten.
