- “You're minuscule. A dust mote on the shelf of that great institution. Now, you think I'm just a trigger-happy jerk who follows orders, but I am something you will never be. I'm pure. I believe in evil. You and your friends, you're conflicted. You're confused. We're not. That is why you are gonna lose, because we possess the most powerful thing in the world... Conviction.”
- ―Agent Hauser[src]
Agent Hauser was the leader of Wolfram & Hart's Special Ops Team. When Corbin Fries threatened to destroy Los Angeles if W&H didn't get him off on his current charges, Hauser and his men attempted to secure his son- Fries having planted the bomb he was going to use literally in his child-, only for Angel to beat them to it. When Hauser stated that Angel was out of his depth in his current role as they had a conviction that he lacked, Angel informed Hauser that mercy was a more powerful force than conviction, demonstrating the last of his own mercy by forcing Hauser's rifle under his chin and causing him to blow his own head off.
Personality and traits
Unlike several of his fellow Wolfram & Hart employees, Hauser was a radical at heart, a true believer in the firm's mission and a fanatical follower of evil.
