Synopsis[edit | edit source]
TV scribe Jane Espenson’s epic tale concludes as the Mayor’s ghost finally takes possession of a body powerful enough to destroy Buffy — one he found in the basement of the Initiative headquarters. As Xander heads out of town and Willow fantasizes about college life, Buffy’s left to face the thing without knowing whose hand guides it, armed only with an enigmatic message from Faith: “You’re already dead.”[1]
