Gunther had an apartment in Haddyn in the 23rd century. It had an aquarium for him to stay in and visitors would walk over the glass, communicating through an intercom. Melaka once broke the glass to fight underwater and kill Urkonn of the D'Avvrus, who didn't know how to swim.

In the new timeline formed after the Reckoning, Gunther lived in the same apartment, but he did not recognize Melaka.
