Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is conjectural.

The Gentlemen's box was an instrument used by The Gentlemen to contain stolen voices during their rampage in Sunnydale. When destroyed, it released the voices back to the victims of the Gentlemen's city-wide voicelessness curse.

This is one of the few props from Buffy the Vampire Slayer that was slated for replication and release for sale to the public by Factory X. Though it never went into production, the ads for it can still be found on web-sites such as Entertainment Earth where it was advertised as the Gentlemen's Voice Box.
A replica of the Gentlemen's box appears in "Wrecked" inside Willow's chest alongside other magical items.
