Gabriella was a Slayer active in Italy in 1503.[1]

Biography[]

During Carnival in Venice, Gabriella rescued a man being bitten by Lucrezia Borgia. She yanked him from the vampire and tossed Lucrezia by her cloak. When the vampire lunged at her, Gabriella reacted knocking her head against hers. Lucrezia then used the Orb of Malfeo kept in her cloak to teleport back to Rome, but Gabriella hold her as its light shone. Her Watcher, Mario, shouted her name before the two soon landed on the floor of Lucrezia's palace.[1]

Gabriella punched Lucrezia on the face, but the vampire Malfeo hold her arms and Cesare wielded his sword. Lucrezia had the Slayer dragged and chained to the dungeon. Gabriella pulled herself free twice and nearly destroyed her cell, but she was beaten and rechained to a fortified cell. When she lashed, her food and water were withhold for almost a week. Gabriella then began to babble, mentioning her title as the Vampire Slayer and being chosen to fight evil, as well as calling for Mario.[1]

When she was certain that the girl wasn't able to resist anymore, Lucrezia bit Gabriella. The vampire considered her blood heavenly and desired to be able to keep drinking it. Lucrezia would drink from her until she was almost dead, then stopped and waited weeks until Gabriella regained her strength. Lucrezia then starved her again, drugged her, and lay on silk pillows in the cell while nibbling from Gabriella.[1]

Gabriella eventually pretended to be weak so Lucrezia would let down her guard. Four courtiers helped Gabriella get the teleportation orb, then they all escaped together. Malfeo went after the Slayer to retrieve his orb, but he never returned.[1]
