- “I know it doesn't look promising, but I swear this place is great. It's the best kept secret in town.”
- ―Robin Wood[src]
A French restaurant was located in Sunnydale, where Buffy Summers and Robin Wood dined together.[1]
History[]
In 2003, Wood asked Buffy to dinner, which she accepted partially to investigate his possible association with the First Evil, partially to enjoy a date with him. That night, Wood led Buffy to a dark alley, where two vampires jumped on them, making Buffy believe it had been a trap. After she watched Wood stake one of the vampires as well, he told her they should talk. He pointed the entrance of the restaurant in front of them and described it as "the best kept secret in town."[1]

The entrance to the restaurant.
In this restaurant, Wood told Buffy about his past and his mother Nikki Wood, who had been a Slayer as well. Buffy noted that Wood chose to tell her about him in a "darkened, little romantic French restaurant." Buffy described the desert as "the best thing [she'd] ever had in [her] mouth" and Wood explained that they soaked the pears in brandy. As Wood feed a piece with the sauce to Buffy, their date was interrupted by Spike's arrival, so the three left to rescue Xander from his demonic date.[1]
