Brian Turk was an actor who portrayed Mort in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "Real Me."
In early 2018, Turk was diagnosed with cancer, which became terminal in March 2019. He died in Orange, California on September 13, 2019 at the age of 49.[1]
Career[]
Turk is perhaps best known for his starring role on Carnivàle, in which he played the strongman Gabriel. In addition to Buffy, he had supporting roles in series such as Step by Step, Wings, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Beverly Hills, 90210, Boy Meets World, ER, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Tick, Criminal Minds, Two and a Half Men, General Hospital, Animal Kingdom, NCIS: Los Angeles, among others.
He also acted in films such as Panther, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, American Pie 2, Big Fat Liar, and more.
