The Fall of Los Angeles is a major point in Angel: After the Fall. After the Angel Investigations team survived the battle with the Senior Partners' army after the murders of Marcus Hamilton and the Circle of the Black Thorn, the Partners punished them by transforming Angel into a human and sending the city of Los Angeles and everyone in it into a hell dimension. During this time period the A.I. team mostly worked independent of one another, with a few members working together here and there, in order to defeat the Demon Lords that took control of the city and return Los Angeles to Earth. After Angel managed to defeat the Demon Lords, he was able to undo the events of the Fall by provoking the now-vampire Charles Gunn to kill him; since the Senior Partners' plans depended on Angel being alive to fight for them in their vision of the final Apocalypse, they had to keep Angel alive, but with Angel now dead the only way for them to use him was to turn back time to the last moment when Angel was whole, thus undoing Los Angeles ever having been sent to Hell in the first place.
