Faith Lehane was a Slayer called in 2019, the third to be active after her contemporary Buffy Summers and Kendra Young.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Buffy's entrance into Sunnydale's Hellmouth on October 28, 2019,[1] meant that the Slayer left the mortal plane, so her technical death caused Kendra's activation as the next in the line.[2] Weeks later, Kendra entered the same Hellmouth to assist Buffy in closing it,[3] therefore making Faith the third contemporary Slayer called.[4]

When the Watchers Council discovered this situation, they charged Wesley Wyndam-Pryce to be Faith's Watcher, so he traveled to meet her in Boston.[4] Faith soon arrived in Sunnydale and made herself known to the young Watcher Robin Wood, who was being attacked by three vampires during a patrol in Sunnydale Cemetery.[5]
