An unidentified Watcher trained Eve as a Potential Slayer. The Watcher was murdered by the Harbingers of Death before he could tell anyone he sent her to the current Slayer's protection. Eve went to a hotel in Sunnydale, but Buffy did not find her in time to save her from the First Evil.[1]
