Drew Z. Greenberg is a writer whose work includes Buffyverse episodes and comic issues. Part of the Mutant Enemy Productions, he also served as story editor during the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as additionally writing episodes for the unproduced Buffy the Animated Series.
Personal life[]
Greenberg is openly gay, and is proud to work LGBT characters into his scripts. He describes: "I've never written an original pilot script that didn't have at least one gay character in it, even if I was the only one who knew that character was going to be gay. Sure, telling stories about gays and lesbians has been a priority for me."[1] Rightfully, all his scripts for Buffy the Vampire Slayer prominently features LGBT characters like Willow Rosenberg, Tara Maclay, Kennedy, Andrew Wells, Billy Lane, and Devon.
