Composer Douglas Romayne (21 June 1974, New York, USA) was hired by Joss Whedon to score [[Buffy the Vampire Slayer|"Buffy the Vampire Slayer]]" (1997) for 20th Century Fox/Mutant Enemy (season 7).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer|At Beck's studio, Douglas worked on a number of films including Dreamwork's The Tuxedo and was assigned Associate Music Director on the "Buffy" musical, "Once More, With Feeling," which was nominated for an Emmy in Music Direction (C. Beck, J. Tobias).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer|Douglas left Beck's studio in the fall of 2002 to score "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." To date, he has scored 8 seasons of dramatic network television series in 4 years as well as 6 features, documentaries and numerous shorts, delivering weekly episodes of orchestral-based underscore and managing the day-in/day-out post production schedule of overlapping film and television projects.
