Doug Petrie is a co-executive producer, writer and director on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He also wrote two episodes of Angel.

As well as TV writing, he wrote the graphic novel Ring of Fire and the Buffy comics Bad Dog, Double Cross and Nikki Goes Down!. His other writing credits include Tru Calling, Harriet the Spy (starring Michelle Trachtenberg) and Clarissa Explains It All.
