Incurso was an offensive spell used to hex opponents. The spell required only an incantation: “incurso”. The spell was cast through the caster’s mouth and appeared as a green gas that enveloped its target. The spell caused magical damage or, at the very least, disruption.
History
In 2002, Giles, empowered by the Devon Coven, used this spell in his duel against Dark Willow. The effect of the spell was short-lived. Whether this was intrinsic to the spell or because it was used against an extremely powerful opponent, or both, it’s unknown.[1]
In 2017, Willow Rosenberg used her newly regained magic to cast this spell on a small army of slayers that were attacking her, Buffy Summers, and Faith Lehane. It caused a nearby door to break, and the targeted individuals to collapse.[2]
