A spell was used to break the relationship between two individuals. It invoked several powers from hell to ensure that the two lovers would not find love, solace, or peace from each other, converting the emotion between the two targets from love to hate.[1]
History[]
Willow attempted to use the spell during her first year of college after she found out that her boyfriend Oz has been involved with another werewolf, Veruca. Ultimately, Willow was not able to complete the spell, stopping abruptly just before finishing it.[1]
Requirements[]
In an empty lab, Willow had a bowl with fire over a burner and some items in front of her: a book, herbs, candles, bottles with sand, beakers, and a chalice with a round stone. She mixed ingredients with mortar and pestle and began an incantation:[1]
- "I conjure thee, by Barabbas, by Satanas, and the Devil. As thou art burning, let Oz's and Veruca's deceitful hearts be broken. I conjure thee by the Saracen Queen, and by the name of hell. Let them find no love or solace. Let them find no peace as well. Let this image seal his fate, not to love, only hate..."[1]
The flames arose, and the book and beakers started to float as Willow took a picture of Oz. Instead of burning it into the fire, Willow dropped the picture, giving up the spell. The fire extinguished, and the beakers shattered as they fell.[1]
