David Fury is a writer, director, and actor whose work includes Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes and comics. He also acted as a producer for both series.
Biography
In addition to Buffy and Angel, Fury has written for the television series 9-1-1 (2019), Magnum P.I. (2018–2019), Lethal Weapon (2018), The Tick (2017–2018), 24: Legacy (2017), Homeland (2015), Tyrant (2015), 24: Live Another Day (2014), Hannibal (2013), Fringe (2011–2012), Terra Nova (2011), 24 (2006–2010), The Inside (2006), Lost (2004–2005), The Wild Thornberrys (1999), Working (1998), Pinky and the Brain (1997), Life's Work (1996), Dream On (1994–1996), House of Buggin (1995), and The Jackie Thomas Show (1992–1993).
Fury also acted on Joss Whedon's film Much Ado About Nothing (2012) and Amber Benson's Chance (2002), as well as the series 24 (2009), Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993), and The Jackie Thomas Show (1993). His editing credits limit to his three Buffyverse episodes.
Fury was featured in the Buffy DVDs featurettes "Season 3 Overview", "Season 4 Overview", "Season 5 Overview", "Season 6 Overview", and "Season 7 Overview"; and Angel's "Season 4 Overview" and "Malice in Wonderland: Wolfram & Hart". He also provided the DVD commentaries for Buffy episodes "Helpless", "Primeval", "Real Me", "Bargaining, Part One", "Bargaining, Part Two", "Grave", and "Lies My Parents Told Me"; as well as Angel's "The House Always Wins", "Destiny", and "You're Welcome".
He is married to fellow screenwriter Elin Hampton, with whom he has three children.
