Biography[edit | edit source]
Darrow summoned Angel to his timeline in order to stop James, but was briefly captured by the Illyria of that time until Angel convinced her that he was only working with Darrow out of necessity rather than choice. Darrow was subsequently killed by his associate Mendoza herself lover of James' sister Rowant Mor, but he was able to provide Angel with the Vanishing Gem before his death, which Angel was able to use to weaken James' past self.
In the past, Angel's associate Anne Steele was impregnated with a part-demonic baby due to James's influence, which should have killed her. However, Connor was able to use his newfound powers to transfer the baby from Anne to James, weakening the latter and contributing to his death. Afterwards, Anne decided to keep the baby, which she named Polyphemus Darrow Steele—after the recently-deceased Polyphemus—hinting that the baby may have been Darrow's past self. What bearing this has on the future Angel witnessed is currently unclear.
Powers & Abilities[edit | edit source]
As a half-demon, he is very strong and fast. He threw Angel through the room with only one blow, and the blow was so powerful that the impact hit a wall. When Angel threw a wooden stake at him, Darrow was fast enough to deflect him in the middle of the air.
He also has great magical knowledge, and could get Angel with a ritual to himself.
Darrow uses a kind of laser gun during the fighting. It is unclear whether he himself has build it, but he is a good shooter.
