The Dark Slayer was the final duplicate of the real Buffy Summers created by the alchemist Dr. Flitter.
Biography
The Dark Slayer was created by Doctor Flitter using the bone of a dead Slayer taken from the Kien-Ju vampire sect, a polaroid of Buffy Summers, and the blood of the vampire Selke. The first attempt had been sabotaged by Spike and Drusilla, who added essence of garlic and powdered crucifx to the formula, resulting in a lifeless slime.[1] The second attempt was rejected due to its deformed appearance, so she was dumped into the sewers.
