The com-shuck was a mating ritual from Pylea. It was foretold that the Pylean champion Groosalugg would mate with the Cursed One, Cordelia Chase,[1] which would result to the visions being transferred to him. However, Cordelia chose not to consummate the ritual and keep the visions to help other people.[2]
When Cordelia and Groo were reunited, Groo sought a protective potion at Anita's brothel so they could have sex without Cordelia losing her visions.[3]
