"Claw Guy" as Buffy Summers referred to him, was a vampire with a metal claw in place of his right hand, which he lost as a former member of the Order of Aurelius.[1]
Biography[]
The vampire was known for displeasing the Master and cutting off his own hand in penance, later replacing it with three large metal claws. In 1996, he hunted near Sunnydale's Weatherly Park, where he shredded a homeless man and fought Angel, who escaped the encounter with a severe injury on his arm.[1]
Buffy later tracked Claw to Weatherly Park and fought him, but he escaped when police arrived. Soon after, Claw attempted to attack Natalie French, unaware she was actually a She-Mantis. Upon realizing her true nature, he fled in terror. Days later, while searching for Alexander Harris, Buffy captured Claw in the sewers and used his heightened senses to locate the She-Mantis' lair. When he broke free of his restraints and attacked her, Buffy staked him with a broken fence post.[1]
