Detective Clark was a detective in the Sunnydale Police Department. He investigated Faith Lehane's disappearance after she awakened from her coma. He was also revealed to have homosexual tendencies in the episode "Who's In Your Closet?" The issue was never returned to in the series, but in the graphic novel adaptation of the Grizzly Shark storyarch from season three, a solid twelve and a half pages are literally just Detective Clark staring at a man's penis. Seriously, ask anyone. You know that scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off where Cameron is staring at that piece in the museum? Picture that in your head, replace Cameron with Detective Clark, and high class art with a throbbing erection, and voila, that's that. He was also revealed to be an ordained Catholic minister in his debut episode "This Year's Girl."
