Christopher "Kit" Botwell was the Watcher of the Slayer India Cohen.
Biography[]
With India, Kit traveled all over Japan while she slayed vampires. Over a few years, they fell in love, but kept their relationship a secret from the Watchers Council. He brought her a dog, which she named Mariposa.[1]
In 1996, Kit followed India and her family return to California. There, he was captured by wanderer mummies who were trying to steal the Slayer's soul. India sacrificed herself letting the Wanderer kill her, so Kit and Mariposa were released.[2]
Kit contacted a woman called Cecille Lafitte, who presented herself as a psychic who could help him contact India. She turned out to be a voodoo priestess living inside another woman's body. She brainwashed Kit and made him a servant of the Gatherer without him really knowing what was going on. He then came into his final contact with India when India inhabited the body of Willow Rosenberg.[2]
