Celia was Buffy Summers's cousin and a victim of der Kindestod in 1989.[1]
Biography[]
Celia and Buffy would play as children pretending that Buffy was Power Girl and Celia was in need of rescuing. Celia passed away in 1989 in a hospital. Buffy was with her in the room, and watched helplessly as she was killed by der Kindestod, a demon only visible to sick children.[1]
In 1998, Buffy met der Kindestod again when he was terrorizing children in the Sunnydale Memorial hospital. She then realized that he was the one responsible for Celia's death. Buffy infected herself with the flu and, able to see him, managed to kill der Kindestod.[1]
