Carissa Avenhaus was a Dutch Slayer active in Holland from 1670–1673.
Biography[]
Carissa Avenhaus was called in Holland in 1670. Despite being from a poor economic background, she was a dedicated Slayer and served until her death in 1673 at the age of 15.[1]
In 1843, her spirit was called upon to help teach Charlton Muzzlewit, the Watcher to the then reigning Slayer, Catherine Hogarth, the error of his ways and see his charge as someone who was to be treated with dignity and value despite being poor.[1]
