Buffy Summers owned a cross necklace gifted by Angel when the two first met.[1]
History[]
When Buffy first arrived in Sunnydale, Angel sought the Slayer to gift her a cross necklace.[1] During her high school years, Buffy often wore this necklace, also used it sparingly in her battles against vampires, and at least once for torture. This necklace most notably saved her life during the first day at Sunnydale, when it fended off the vampire Luke from biting her neck.[2]
When hearing that she would die at the Master's hands, Buffy, in an emotional rage, took the necklace off after announcing her resignation from being a Slayer. She reacquired it after she decided to face the Master, wearing it during their confrontation.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
- The necklace was available as the two licensed replicas by Factory X and Genki Wear.
- It was an accessory for Buffy in two variant 12 Inch Figures and sculpted in three Buffy the Vampire Slayer action figures, a PALz figure, her ReAction Figure, four Funko Pop!, and her Gallery Diorama.
