Bill Willingham is a writer whose work included Buffyverse comics from IDW Publishing.
Twilightgate
After the identity of Twilight was leaked, Season Eight editor Scott Allie at Dark Horse Comics suggested in an interview that the story of Season Eight was being coordinated with Angel editor Chris Ryall at IDW Publishing.[1] Bill Willingham responded through a public letter (which in no weak words) denouncing Scott, Joss, and Dark Horse.[2] This caused much fan backlash, for which Chris Ryall publically apologised. Bill left the title a few months later.
