A battle took place at the blood plant in an alternative reality, in which Buffy Summers led a confrontation against the Order of Aurelius.[1]

Background[]
Cordelia made a wish to the vengeance demon Anyanka that Buffy had never went to Sunnydale, creating an alternate timelime. Without the Slayer, the Order of Aurelius reigned free throughout Sunnydale for two years.[1]
The Master sent some of his minions to kidnap humans and take them to his new blood processing plant. Meanwhile, Giles summoned Buffy to Sunnydale, who went after the Master the night the Order debuted their blood-draining machine.[1]
The battle[]
The Master concluded his speech to the gathered vampires and demonstrated the machine on one of the prisoners. Buffy, arriving with Angel, pointed a crossbow at the Master and fired. He spotted her and used Xander as a shield, the arrow hitting him in the shoulder.[1]
Angel went to release the prisoners, who all scattered, but Oz and Larry stayed to fight. As Buffy proceeded the fight against the vampires, Xander attempted to attack her from behind. Angel spotted him and saved Buffy, though Xander staked him in the process. Buffy staked Xander, and Oz pushed Willow onto a broken slat of the wooden cage, killing her.[1]
The Master and Buffy moved to fight each other. She was overtaken, and he snapped her neck. At that moment, Giles broke the Symbol of Anyanka and reverted Cordelia's wish back into the main timeline.[1]
Aftermath[]
Without her power center, Anya lost her demon powers and became stuck as a human.[1] She attempted to perform a spell to retrieve her necklace from the alternative timeline, but it brought instead the vampiric Willow, who was taken from the middle of the battle, just before her original death. Once she was sent back, however, Willow died at Oz's hands once again.[2]
