Behind the Scenes[edit | edit source]
- Ling Kai's boyfriend is called Billy by Hawkins in this issue. In issue 2, Ling Kai calls him Watson and he refers to himself als Jimmy. Common interpretation is that he is called Jimmy Watson and that Billy is either a nickname or a mistake by the writer.
- The series introduced several mysteries which were never solved. What did Angel whisper to Ling Kai?What happened to Lynch? It has been suggested that the series was originally going to be four or five issues, but that it was cut short and that this caused the plot-holes.
- The idea for the story came from David Tischman's fascination with this time period and his wish to write a comic set during this era, which was later decided would be an Angel story.
