Anna was a little girl watching a TV show called Smile Time, featuring puppets singing songs about learning. One of the puppets, Polo, used a spell to send the message that all of the kids in the audience should put their hands on the TV, which would result in their life forces being stolen. However, the ritual is interrupted by Angel Investigations, with Anna being thrown back into her seat.
