A six-minute pitch tape (sometimes refereed to as the "unaired Angel Pilot") produced by Joss Whedon which was never intended to air, but employed in 1999 to show the WB Network the potential of Angel.
It contains clips of scenes later used in the Angel pilot, clips taken from Buffy and also footage later used in the Angel opening titles.
Synopsis
Angel stands on a skyscraper over night-time Los Angeles. He explains key moments in his history that eventually brought him to L.A.. Angel has not been in the city long. He promises to stir the waters and challenge powerful forces that have made great business out of people's despair.

Production
- The tape contains a reused footage of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, specially the episodes "Becoming, Part One", "Becoming, Part Two", and "Amends" - which focus on Angel - and Anne, which is set in Los Angeles and deals with evil preying on the helpless, a theme which would be deeply explored in the new series.
