Angel & Faith is a comic book series from Dark Horse Comics, which continues from Angel: After The Fall and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight. It is followed by Angel & Faith Season Ten.

The series is published under the banner of meta-series Season Nine, and executive produced by Joss Whedon.

Premise

Angel & Faith follows the characters of Angel and Faith Lehane after the fallout of the Twilight crisis. After Giles's death at Angel's hands, Faith inherits Giles' estate including his apartment in London. After Angel becomes catatonic, Faith takes him in, as nobody else would. At the start of the series, Angel is ready to redeem himself once more; together they deal with Angel's involvement in the Twilight crisis, the End of Magic, the emergence of zompires, and the death of Rupert Giles.

  • The series referenced the IDW Publishing comic Angel: After the Fall, with a flashback in Live Through This depicting the Fall of Los Angeles. Writer Christos Gage stated "As for the IDW years, again, we're not going to delve deep into any of that, for the same reasons. However, while as far as I'm concerned only Joss [Whedon] can say this story is canon and that one isn't, I think we establish pretty clearly in this issue that After the Fall happened, and indeed significantly informed Angel's actions in adopting the role of Twilight."[1]
