Behind the scenes[]
- Angel & Faith marks the return to the Angel title to Dark Horse after the license had moved to IDW Publishing.
- The series references the IDW series After the Fall with a flashback in the issue #1 depicting the Fall of Los Angeles. Christos Gage stated: "As for the IDW years, again, we're not going to delve deep into any of that, for the same reasons. However, while as far as I'm concerned only Joss [Whedon] can say this story is canon and that one isn't, I think we establish pretty clearly in this issue that After the Fall happened, and indeed significantly informed Angel's actions in adopting the role of Twilight."[1]
