Anaheed was a Slayer[1] and one of Buffy Summers' roommates in San Francisco.[2]
Biography[]
Slayer Organization[]
Anaheed was one of the thousands[3] of Potential Slayers activated from Willow Rosenberg's spell in 2003.[4] As a Slayer, she joined the Slayer Organization in Rona's training squad based in Chicago, where she met Tessa Freer and Simone Doffler.[5]
End of magic[]
Following the destruction of the Seed of Wonder and the subsequent end of magic, the Slayer Organization disbanded.[6] Anaheed was among the Slayers who remained loyal to Buffy Summers, and she was charged to protect her. Hiding her identity as a Slayer, Anaheed arranged for Buffy to become her roommate,[5] alongside her friend, Tumble, in an apartment in San Francisco.[2] Anaheed eventually led Tumble to discover that Buffy was the Slayer and,[7] while feigning surprise and fear, convinced him to still accept Buffy in the apartment.[8][5]
Anaheed welcomed Billy Lane into the fold, but she suspected the young vampire hunter was affiliated with Simone and Severin.[5] When Billy went to investigate Buffy's disappearance and a zompire attack on Robert Dowling, Anaheed followed him and revealed to him her Slayer status, determined to help him in the actual crisis.[1] They went to talk with a hospitalized Dowling, and Anaheed recognized Tessa as a zompire in the recorded attack, discovering that Simone was experimenting on a Slayer-zompire hybrid.[5]
Powers and abilities[]
Anaheed possessed all the common powers of a Slayer,[5] such as enhanced strength, speed, durability, and regeneration.
